What are the requirements to become GCAA Dangerous Goods certified Freight Forwarder? |
- Absence of any offence which may have led to the revocation of a previous certificate.
- Application for Issuance/Renewal of Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification “Form S/S-DG-101” must be completed and sent/faxed to Abu Dhabi Office (Fax No. 02 – 405 44 61).
- Minimum of two DG trained staff members with valid DG training certificates.
- Developed company procedures which reflect Civil Aviation Regulations, Part VI; Chapter 2 requirements. In addition, the company procedures must describe the acceptance/processing of DG from the time they are accepted from the shipper to the time they are handed over to the ground handling agency.
- IATA Dangerous Goods Regulation Manual - current edition.
- DG storage facility (as required).
- Certification fee of (AED 10,000).

What are the requirements to become Dangerous Goods certified Air Operator? |
- Application for Issuance/Renewal of Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification “Form S/S-DG-110” must be completed and sent/faxed to Abu Dhabi Office (Fax No. 02 – 405 44 61).
- IATA Dangerous Goods Regulation Manual, where the 49th edition of the DGR (the current one) must be available for use by staff at all times, if and when required.
- DG storage facility (as required).
Produce a company procedure for the handling of dangerous goods.
- A minimum of four (4) staff members to attend a ‘Dangerous Goods Handling’ course.
- Pay an annual fee of Dhs 10,000

- DG storage facility (as required).
- Produce a company procedure for the handling of dangerous goods.

What is duration of the Dangerous Goods Certification? |
