GCAA TRAINING POLICY

GCAA policy is to provide a progressive learning environment by continuous assessment of the training and development needs of its employees and thereafter by providing training programs to improve the performance and career development of these employees, thus enhancing the overall performance of the GCAA as an organization. Our goal is to provide the best possible service to the aviation industry at-large, and to our client-base, in particular. Training emphasis is also focused on UAE nationals to facilitate development to their full potential and to support our pro-active nationalization targets. 

The H.R. directorate aims to align human resources needs with the business needs of the authority. It sees the development and implementation of high quality services as essential in order to sustain the fulfillment of the organizations objectives by meeting its present needs and looking ahead to its future requirements. Great importance is attached to attracting, developing and retaining high-caliber UAE national's staff who are able to respond in a flexible way to changing environments. For this reason the authority has to embark a nationalization program in the following discipline.

The GCAA’s goal is to be a regional leading Civil Aviation services-provider and regulator whilst meeting or exceeding standards and practices set by the industry on a global basis, including the International Civil Aviation Organization. Training is the engine that has powered us to that goal and is the engine that continues to power our highly successful Nationalization Program on the principles of maintaining the highest possible safety and service standards whilst remaining invisible to our client-base.
