Flight Operations Section is entrusted to ensure that the regulatory activities for the safety of commercial and private air transport are properly discharged and that the public interest is adequately protected. All commercial and private operators are requited to undergo a stringent series of inspections prior to the issuance of AOC. The AOC sets forth the authorization and limitations for any operator to conduct specific commercial and air transport operations. To ensure the required standards of operations are maintained, continuing surveillance by Flight Operations Section is inherent in the system of certification. This is for the interest of flight safety intended to provide safe and reliable air transportation service to the public.
